Hey, guys! It's about time we liven up the place a little bit, so a contest should do the trick! Since Halloween is almost a month away, we figured that a Halloween-themed contest would be fitting!
The rules for the contest are simple; either draw your Finnedyr in a costume having fun, or draw them in a spooky situation! The prizes are these:
First Place:
A fully-done picture by me, 110
, an icon by UnoleSpirit, a pixel drawing by VintageTears, and a shaded picture by AlmondFeather
Second Place:
3 shaded backgroundless pictures by me, a pixel drawing by VintageTears, and icon by UnoleSpirit, and 50
Third Place:
2 flat-colored drawings by me, a pixel drawing by VintageTears, and an icon by UnoleSpirit and 30
Anyone can enter, and there is a limitless amount of entries you want to submit. Just note the group with you4 entry, and we'll take it from there.
The due date is October 31

looking for a new founder/ at least new admins
as of right now im kind of in a rock and a hard place
as someone who honestly does not dedicate themselves to finnedyrs, or griffsnuff themselves anymore, i find it hard even connecting with this species
i have my own things i want to do with my own species, as well as my own groups i want to pursue. i tried my best to ignore it but this group really is a sick horse. it has thousands of members in it, yet, no one is active.
another thing i find hard to cope with as the owner of the group is well, im only the owner of the group. im not allowed to change anything about the species or the setting, and i dont know if im allowed to add currency
Trying to get the group back on track
As we've been contacted several times, we are fully aware the group is becoming inactive.
there are several reasons for this:
- Me, the founder, has been having extreme issues that are to personal to state to public
- Griffsnuff tends to no longer update Finnedyrs
- Our current admins are no longer active, and one had to be kicked for personal reasons.
Because of this, the group has been inactive. I remember when this group had tons of rpers and tons of excitement, and it may be hard to get this feeling back again, especially if the Finnedyr species isn't exactly spread around anymore.

We are working on theme, but there must be prizes too! I will contribute and we would appreciate donations for points, paypal and art for the prize. The groups been dead and needs a little life. The Contest will be spring related, so it will be posted by the end of the month! stay tuned!
